During a several months-long co-design workshop between Bogotá, Colombia and Boston, MA, Bella Carmelita Carriker participated in the collective Diversa Colombia, which is dedicated to collaborating on design solutions for sustainable farming and land management. Together with a local women’s farming collective, she worked on building prototypes for rainwater management and organic vegetable washing to be used by the community. Additionally, a series of publically-available instruction manuals were created to share ideas and designs with the broader collective.
