Investigations into water infrastructures in Mexico City reveal a complex system tunnels, pipes, and dams; which contribute to environmental inequalities throughout the neighborhood of Iztapalapa. This research outlines the regional pre-colonial technologies traditionally used to manage potable, farming, and flood waters, as well as the contemporary concerns surrounding access to drinking water and increased flooding.
